NetCompany 2024
In this backtest, we are looking at NetCompany, a Danish publicly traded IT consultancy headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. The data was pulled on 31 December 2024. NetCompany published its 2024 Annual Report in February 2025. There is strong alignment between NetCompany's reported materiality in its 2024 annual report and Mettle's OSMA analysis.
Alignment of Topic Materiality

Comparing the two assessments, there is clear match between what NetCompany and Mettle find material and not. Where we disagree, on materiality of E3 Water and Marine Resources, this may be caused by NetCompany over-reporting based on an issue that is material to the industry but not to the company. As the Annual Report states: Our own and co-host data centres either do not use water for cooling or employ closed loop systems with minimal water consumption.
Topic Materiality over time
2023
2024
S4 Consumers and EndUsers has become even more material, G1 Business conduct and E5 Circular Economy continue to be material. S1 Own Workforce has become more material.
Which sub-topics are showing shifts in materiality
S4.1 Information impacts for consumers has become more material in the last 12 months and should be investigated as an IRO. E4.4 Impacts on ecosystem services needs to be investigated as an IRO, however there are low levels of net sentiment conversation here that suggests this may be excluded from the potential IROs to be reported.
Materiality of Non-ESRS subtopics
Developed using SASB taxonomy and Mettle's own unique Trust, Reputation, Thematic models. The taxonomies intentionally have some overlap with each other and with the ESRS taxonomy. Key to this analysis is identifying new topics not specified in ESRS, but meeting the requirement to determine anything else that is material. In NetCompany's use case, Mettle would recommend Modern Workforce, Data Security, Privacy be included in material subtopics to be reported.
